The Swiftwater and Flood First Responder Instructor (SFRI) course equips instructors to teach the fundamentals of responding to swiftwater and flood environments.
Becoming a Swiftwater and Flood First Responder Instructor (SFRI) allows you to instruct on fundamental techniques essential for effective operations in swiftwater and flood environments. You will teach critical skills including non-buoyant rescues, wading rescues, and bank-based rescues. On successful completion, Instructors can deliver the following courses:
Water and Flood Awareness (AW)
Basic Water Rescuer (BWR)
Flood Operations (FO)
Swiftwater and Flood First Responder (SFR)
